That's what I would do is rev it to the moon and side step it, but I was being conservative. Didn't want to sound like a retard that doesn't know how to drive. But I allways start high and back off when I drive a stick. Now I run an automatic 3000 stall and with a transbrake so I don't have these problems. If I want a more aggressive launch I will have to get a looser stall.

Line loc FTW. I love mine. Sometime's it doesnt hold well and i have to start over though. I have manual brakes so i really have press the brake all the way to the floor. I've never run slicks, you should have fun. Dont worry about getting embarrassed at the track. The only people who will talk trash are the people that have never run.

you guys think a 13.5 is out of reach for me? there is a kid with a corvette up here that ran a 13.5 and i know it would **** him off if my $4000 car went faster then his $25000

bottom end is stock it has:
70mm maf
70mm bbk tb
cobra intake
gt40 heads w/ 1:7 roller rockers
b303 cam
windage tray
mac long tubes with an x pipe no cats and dumps
msd 6al box
4:10s,subframe connectors, and mac jr mega bite bar

the one other time i went to the track i ran a 14.4 with a 2.6 60ft and a trap speed of over 100. But this was before i was used to the car and first time ever racing a stick

You should hit mid 13's w/o the slicks. So with the slicks it should be easy.
