Most drag strips will not let you run your Slicks unless you have a driveshaft safety loop! Our local track (Heartland Park Topeka) wouldnt let my buddy run his 80's firebird cause he was running non DOT slicks. just somthin to consider.. Ive gotta get a safety loop for my car as well.

It all depends on the track and how strict they are. I've been teched once. The guy ask me to open my hatch and he said nice job. I know by battery box (or lack there of) is not legal. I've never been asked for a loop.

yeah u should be alright your just gonna have to play with the launch and get use to them and heat em up good
so cant wait to see what times u can get with your setup even though u are a rookie to the track good luck dude.

yeah i am hoping since its just a test and tune day they will let some stuff slide and just tell me what i need to do for next time...i have all the brackets to put the battery box back in just thought a system was a better idea at the time lol
