Axle damper Shock help!!!

Default Axle damper Shock help!!!

My new tires are rubbing the axle damper, im buying new shocks for here because they are old. Is possible to flip it around so the smaller end is againts the tire??? Thanks

just to clearify this is in the rear of the car, and does anybody recommend a certain brand to replace the stock ones with?

Most people here willtell you to get a set of lower control arms and junk the quad shocks. I got a set of uppers/lowers and still run the quads. I replaced them with stock ones. the shocks from a 94-04 will work. You can get them from a Ford dealer.

Your best bet would be to buy some lower control arms and remove the quad shocks. If you don't want to do that then as many people do you can flip the quad shock around to help clear the larger tire.

just do a search on summit or ebay..any set of aftermarket control arms will serve the purpose you need

you could use the tbird turbocoupe quad brackets to get even more room...
