Default fuel pressure & injectors

from my last post, if i want more mph, it would seem i need more HP. heads and a cam arecoming this winter. in the interium..........
i have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator set @ 42 psi. at the track, will i get more fuel into the cylinders, and hopefully more HP,if i run 45 psi or more? (assuming it can suck in more air too.)
or will the computer lean it back to the programed a/f ratio?
if it will increase the fuel, will it cause damage to the injectors?

you wont increase the amount of air drawn into the car by bumping the fuel...

please try to logically think about these things

without increasing VE=Volumetric efficiency via heads cam and intake ..you are wasting your time[&:]

appearantly my english is not too good. i did not mean to imply that an engine could suck more air by bumping up the fuel.

i was simply wondering --1.if i increased the fuel pressure, would the injectors spray more fuel or would the computer simply lean it back, and ...
2. if the injectorsspray more fuel could i expect more power, porvidedthe intake capacity was not already maxed out.

yes, AdderMk2i was born at night, but it wasn't last night.

yes they will spray more fuel, and as the computer see's the readings from the O2's increase, it will lean out the trim

only if you are running so lean that you are actually losing power.... which usually isnt the case
