The other thing you have to watch with KB's is they run hot. I would really check that engine over for heat damage since it has a Kenne and a blown head gasket.

Look at Streetracer911's post. They are different kinds of supercharges and have different characteristics. It does not mean that one is better then the other. You have to decide what it is you want your car to do and what kind of power it can handle.

yes it would along with a larger 3 core radiator. An intercooler works on the same principal as a radiator and cools downt he air that is going into the intake.

I think a KB supercharger would be harder to install than a Centrifugal type supercharger, but I could be wrong.

you are wrong, KBs are increadibly simple to install, almost as easy as an upper intake swap. Unfortunately KB doesn't make an intercooler for the 5.0 superchargers. Meth works well though.

wouldnt any air to air or water to air intercooler work that ran pre-mass air flow?

It wouldn't do anything on a KB setup to have the intercooler before the MAF...
