hilarious comment about the T-5
So i was in o'reillys auto part store the other day getting an air filter and t-stat for my f-150. anyways he was asking if i drive anything else. I said yes an 89' 5.0 mustang. he says "omg now thats a real car!!"
i laughed and said yep, its a fun car.
then he says" dude those thigns have the most intense transmission. the legendary t-5. I wish i could use one of those in my camaro"
i about fell on the floor laughing!!! i say back to him, "legendary peice of ****, those trannies suck dude, what planet are you from?"
he then quietly sold me my stuff and i walked away.

anything other than a T-5 requires some kind of mods

if you are buying a t-5....you're wasting your money. if you are rebuilding it thats a different story. a new t5 runs about 1400 dollars and you again have to worry about it dying.A new tko600 kit runs about 2500 and thats with everything, then you dont have to worry about it dying again.
