thats a nice project you got there. should be pretty quick and wow a few people when you pop the hood. hopefully your going to clean up the body big time. lol

I had a guy with a beautiful red coupe that had a mod motor out of a mark 8 that wanted to trade but i passed. I read that the mark 8 blocks were not that strong unless there are different makes of it. I dont know anything about the modular world. Good luck and and get that biatch runnin.


I say it wouldnt hold that much power...its probably fine just not enough for my greedy azz.

theres nothing wrong with the blocks. the blocks are desirable because they're the teskid aluminum blocks. its the rods that are the weak points with the 4.6 motors. it should hold up for a while with my needs.

for my build right now the rods are questionable because i am leaving power on the board from not being able to push it much past 7k rpm. If i could i would have boughten different cams and turn it closer to 8

haha yea its just bondoed onto a stock hood. its junk up close. nice thing from the previous owner
