I'm an electrician for the US Navy so I'll be doing it myself. I was just wondering basically if anyone had any issues doing this before with recrimping the old connector for the pwr dist. box.

you talkin about your starter solonoid? the old crappyish looking wire in my picture is my starter solonoid to battery and the newer 4awg stinger wire goes to my 3G alt. swap. no crimping needed on what i have except for the part the bolts up to the starter solonoid. otherwise its just those little screws that hold the wire down.

RE: Battery Cables question
what type of crimp do you need? ring terminal on something like 4awg? most people use a vice, but i dont reccommend it. theres a crimping tool forsale somewhere online, it has a notch in it you put the ring terminal in, hit with a hammer, which flattens it like a vice would, but pushes a notch into the wire preventing the wiring from being pulled out. other than that most distribution blocks are set screws.
i just use these though...

94/95 are different. Our solenoid is attached to the starter. Im talking about the relay box(looks like a fuse box under hood) that is directly connected to the positive cable. I'll take pictures later. I'm actually in the middle of rebuilding my t5.
