Default Nice highway run

So me and a few other friends with 2000 stang, 02 stang and a 04 stang all went to a cruise night in NH last night. I just did a tune up yesterday with 9mm Ford racing wires cap and rotor. Changed my plugs to Autolite 25s and gapped at 50. My friend did the timing on my 92 lx and it was waaaay off. So we got it up to 14*. Wow that woke it up a bit.

So anyway on the way down I ended up racing my friend's 00 mustang with a few modsfrom a 3rd gear dig (mind you I have Flowmaster mufflers and bbk cold air as well) and he could not pass me. I raced the 04 next with a couple mods and he walked me just a tad.

I guess all I'm saying is that I've been reading these forums and seeing some people saying these cars are slow but I'm very impressed with what I've got for being almost stock! I've got 390 gears that I'm still waiting to put in when I get the extra money and I can't wait!

if your timing was low and you can keep your foot out of the new found power then you will save on the gas bill

Oh, don't get me wrong I know my car is slow compared to others. My turboed Mazda 3 would destroy it. I've been in some fast Camaros and my cousins SRT4 would kill it too. I was just shocked that a 92 would keep up with 4.6 with bolt ons! These Mustangs I ran with pulled low 14s and high 13s at the track.

No, I don't have the gears in yet I just have to wait to get them in when I got the money.
