Me and a buddy of mine where heading to my house after work and we played a little on the backroads. I found it very sad that I was keeping up with him from a 15 mph roll to about 80 or so where I left off and got behind him bc of an upcomming hill. The only time he started pulling is when my c4 started slipping going into 2nd and I had to feather the throttle till it caught. He told me after I was ****ing with him about it that he wasn't in it all the way but I could hear that truck scream beside me. He also misted my windshield with coolant for some reason. lol I pulled over thinking it was my car that sprung a leak[8D]. My car doesn't have alot of HP but it is pretty light and he is "rollin on 24's" (he is a mexican from Cali if you are wondering). I hear him all the time saying how he beat this guy and that lol. I know I am prolly dreaming that my car is really that quick but hey I can hope. Just wait till those GT40's go on.

What year lightning. Newer ones are around 5000lbs and if he has no gears and rollin on dubs well, it's no wonder it's slow.

It was an 04 and the only upgrade he has......well performance upgrade is an Air raid filter box and filter. Other than that he has his "coach" interior upgrades and some "Bling" 24" badge on the doors for his wheels. lol He said his boost doesn't kick in really until higher speeds bc of his wheels. Yes they do slow him down but its not a turbo. You don't have to wait on boost. At 70 there should be plenty there to use.

my old fox could hang with lightnings, it had cheap bolt-ons and weight reduction.

Well I was going to. He deleted his myspace page so I can't get any pics. The 24's are too big for the truck but they look better than the 26's he had on it lol. I have been trying to talk him back into putting the stock wheels back on.
