I have a custom power sunroof in my 91 fox and it's leaking. I was just thinking about what to do with it? Should I get it taken out (kinda like it) or try to get it fixed? The spot where it's leaking is rusted. Is there a cover or something that can be placed over it? Looking for some suggestions.

try getting new weatherstripping. if that doesnt work use a SMALL amount of silicone on it to seal any gaps, dont go overboard cause that stuff is hard to get out

why dont you just remove the whole thing.. grind away the rust..replace the weather stripping and bolt it back in?

Here is the rust spot (just a couple bad pics). Sorry they're so big. Car needs to clean. roof is a mess.
