Rotting floors? HELP!

Rotting floors? HELP!
I have an '87 coupe. I recently bought a new carpet from 50 resto. When I went to pull my old carpet up I realized the floor under the passenger seat was rotting out and i could see the ground from inside the car when I pressed on it. I'm tempted to just throw the new carpet on it and just push. But I don't want my passenger to fall through the floor.I heard there is a bracket or something to fix this problem.

A bracket may help for a cracked floorpan but not a rusty one. The only options are a patch, newpan($120), or throw the carpet on and sell the car quick.

Remind me never to buy what your selling, damn. Find a good metal shop and they can fab new floor pans or you can buy new one's. I'd go ahead and take care of thatand any other rot you may have.
