Don't pay for the MIL, just make one with 3 simple resistors.

can someone explain this part to me? if you delete your smog pump and egr you have to have a O/R mid pipe because it will ruins the cats on a catted mid pipe if you just plug up that line coming out of the h pipe???

What? Any facts to back this up? If you get an egr eliminator and the computer doesn't change anything with the engine, how could your exhaust possibly be different?

I have never heard of such things before this thread. The combustion chamber temp will rise, though, as there isn't inert exhaust gas being pumped in the intake anymore.

i thought it had something to do with the air the pump puts in the cats keeps them from getting plugged up. although i ran my jeep with no smog pump for along time and didnt have a problem. but that was a off road truck.

The pump puts no air in the cats. The tube on the h-pipe takes exhaust gas and injects in into your intake manifold. Since exhaust gas is inert(it doesn't combust) it slightly lowers your combustion chamber temps because it is dilluting your a/f ratio.
