I know this really isnt tech, but to make it a tech thread lets talk possibilities as to why it happened! This was done down the street from my house! NSFW due to language

It happened because aluminum is not very strong.

A car with that much power should be running a high alloy steel shaft. Rotating mass is easily overcome by 1,600hp, but the biggest concern(obviously) is staying together long enough to get down the track.

It could be a 302. Blown for sure though. Most likely it's a larger inch turbo engine.
