Mallory or MSD
 

Hey, i have a 1985 mustang gt and am looking to add more to my ignitions performance. I currently have msd wires cap n rotor and a blaster 2..but ive heard diffrent things about ignition boxs between mallory and msd. Any advice?

msd will work fine in your case;)

i love my mallory....2step...boost retard....window switch....digital..
Plus its cheaperthan comparable msd boxes.

I was looking at the Mallory hifire. Do a side by side comparison on summit....

I like the fact the the Mallory uses adial for the limiter where the MSD need pills.

I see all these comments and opinions, just like others I have one also. Answer this question, look around at the drag stip next time you go and ask yourself what brand of ignition do you see on most bad fast cars. If I need to answer this question, I will. MSD, been dominating the high horsepower automotive racing seen for more years than alot of guys on here been alive.;)
There must be a reason why that is so. Do we need to start that discussion again?:D
