Default power steering and elec. fan

i was thinking about taking the power steering off my car and swaping the clutch fan for an electric one. would the power gains be worth it?

Iv'e read that the fan can cost a few hp , can't remember how much but it does help. as for the power steering I don't know couldn't hurt . one less thing to take power to turn. also would clean up the engine bay.

I picked up a tenth at the track by removing fan clutch assembley and going elec....to verify it was a worth while gain at first I went to the track and took fan off there and ran to prove it's worthwhile contribution as a mod.. I now have an elec fan on the 92 as a result of improvement

Electric fans also promote quicker warm up.

if you do decide to go with an electric fan and manual steering let us know how you route the belt.
Iv'e seen pic's of a serpentine set up with the tensioner holding up on the belt, in stead of the usual down.
but can't find ouit how they made it work.

+1, i was amazed at how loud the fan actually is under the hood. I'm not seeing how an electric fan makes the car warm up quicker though. If your thermostat is working, there isn't flow through your radiator so it wouldn't make any difference whether a fan is on or off... what am i missing here?
