i went to the local pic n pull and picked up a gt40 upper and lower intake off a 2000 merc mountaineer for 30 bucks. im going to go back and get the heads. im going to have them port,polished, and milled before i put them on. im also adding new rr's and all the other good stuff. but i was wondering is it worth all the work for the gt40 heads. what is the hp gain compaired to the stock heads. here are some pics

you already posted this before the server crashed, and we already answered...


but just to add more info... my stock cobra (gt-40 heads, gt-40 intake, cobra cam) made 276rwhp, most GT's and LX's have a hard time breaking 200 rwhp on a stock motor

i didn't see any of the replies i was on 24 hr duty when the replies were made i guess. sorry but i never saw it and i guess it was erased. but i'm thinking of going with a B303 cam
