Default cleaning my headers?

what is the best way to clean my headers. since they're off the vehicle i think this is my chance to try to bring out the shine in them. thanks.

once you remvove the dirt, put some chrome/aluminum wheel polish on them.

I just cleaned a friends set last night with a wire brush and wire wheel and they were rusty and then I painted them with 1200 degree black duplicolor and fire the car up and it cooks it on and they turned out nice

they're more dirty than rusty. i'll try polishing them up, if that doesn't look good, i might try to paint em
