RE: Billsteins. Likes dislikes?
Any suggestions on shocks that give a slightly better than stock ride?
How harsh are the billsteins? I have a set on my truck and I love the ride. Its firm but gives when it needs to.

I've owned my car for 19+ yrs ...and I've tried Monroe, KYB, Koni and none of them compare to the Bilstein's that I've been running forthe past7 yrs.
With the Bilstein'son mycar; it stays nice and flat (ever little to no body roll) through the turns, yet they have a some what stiffbut not bone jarring feel to them on the road.
You said you have the Bils on your truck so you know what I'm trying to say about being a firm ride, but not harsh ride.
Slightly better than stock shocks?Monroe, KYB and then Koni, since I've run them.
But that's just me.

I know what your saying about the ride. I was just concerned that since it would not be supporting 2,000 extra pounds that it would be a harsher ride. Sounds like they are designed to have the same ride all arround. I like the way it is on my truck so I think Ill bite the bullet and fork over the $700 or whatever it is for them.
