Without having to spin the 302 engine to 7k, I would look into a budget build 331-347.
To match the same piston speed for a 302 at 7k, you only need to spin the 347 to 6,176 RPM.
I prefer AFR cylinder heads (185 or 205), Holley Systemax Intake, and a custom camshaft and 1.750" header.
400 Flywheel HP would be a snap.
