-Reply to adder's post. i had new motor mounts, so that wasnt my problem, either bend/dent the pipe or shim the mounts, so i shimmed, no big deal.

on my 87 I had no problems, but I have a o/r h pipe

Going to attempt this weekend, and yeah I've got an o/r H.

Is there any other surprises i need to know about...

oh yeah, did you guys use some kind of lubricant on the bolts to help get them off?

I used some penetrating spray the night before and had no problems getting old off. I had to jack the motor an inch or so to get one of the headers on (dont remember which side)

when i did mine i removed the dipstick and then forgot to put it back in

needless to say.. it made a mess.

Used PB blaster to free rusted nuts/bolts, worked great.

I have used BBK headers on both my 91 and my 94 without any fitment issues.
