Default Wheel Hop

whenever i try to spin the tires of dry pavement the rear of the car starts hopin...at first i tought it was the bad tires i had but when i replaced them it didnt fix the problem...a friend of mine said that if u have crappy shocks that can happen...have any of you expeirenced this? is the shock story true? if so how'd u fix it and wut shocks would correct it

mustangs are notorious for bad wheel hop, mainly because of the quad shock setup, if im not mistaken, i think if you take off the 2 horizontal shocks it should help

taking them off makes it worse... get a good set of control arms, it'll solve the problem

iight cuz i have ford racing springs and im ordering KYB gas adjustable shocks so hopefully when i get some new control arms it'll fix it
its aggrabvating u go to show off and all u get is hop and no smoke

the quad shock set up is not the cause of wheel hop.. incorrect pinion agle can cause such but most likely the cause is the control arms.. my 92 did this and I just installed a set of control arms and prob solved

yeah get some nice aftermarket U/L control arms, solved my problem and I got rid of my quad shocks

I am going with steeda weight jackers LCA and double adjustable UCA, tell me how the kyb shocks stack up, I like them and bilsteins but am torn. let me know what you think
