with traction I'd be suprised if you didn't come close to an 11... I did it opposite you... I took my 85 with the new 347 to the track a month ago after installing it and untuned it ran 11.79 @117.....it's amazing the power the stroker motors make....do you have plans to go to the track soon???.. I plan to have mine dynoed in the fall to see where a/f is at..as it's carbed so no huge tuning to really do but I wanna sparay it with 100 shot on the dyno to see where the a/f is at too so I don't roast another motor

Probably not for another couple of months. The one good thing about living in California is that I can go to the track year round. I will probably go in the fall sometime, I still need to put my new suspension on and weld wheels and drag tires. The downside to all of that is that I don't have any of it, so I need to spend some more $$$.. That's the name of the game though I guess.

haha, yeah, nothing a little funnel can't take care of. I thought the same thing when I first bolted it on though.

bikeboy how is the motor runnin?

well...its kinda not lol. when i put my build together some people might remember i has many thread about top end noise, lifter noise, and such. Well after tearing the top apart 7 times and trying everything under the sun i gave it to my dyno tune guy who is also the local 5.0 engine builder(i did all my h/c/i new bottom end bearings, rebuild my tranny all myself for the experience). so he pulled my motor adn found my noise was from pistons hitting valves....on 5 of the 8 cylinders. i was not suppose to have any problems i though but because Trickflow designs their cams to the used with their TW heads which have a different intake valve angle then my Edelbrocks I put on with my build, i ran into my problem. Thank God none of the valves were damaged. The pistons could of been cut and re used but since I'm spraying I said **** it and got a set of Ross Flat-top forged pistons adn my engine builder is putting them in as we speak. He is prolly going to give me a baseline tune when my car is finished and then I will just have to go back for my nitrous tune since i still have my kit sitting at home and have to put it on still. But I am suppose to have my car back at the end of the week so I will have numbers up here soon. hoping for 290-300 at the wheels on the motor and then we will see what the 100 shot does, got the jets for the 125 shot too just incase the 100 isn't enough for me. I am having him throw a bottom en gurdle with studs on too while he has it. I am going to be getting the multi-bank SCT chip so I will have my stock tune, N/A tune, and NOS tune all at the turn of a dial

but when it was running it sounded mean as hell lol
