Default body damage qoute

I had an accident awhile back and have been up to my chin in bills...well it seems that the bills are finally backing off and I have a chance to get back to the stangI have some pretty bad cowl damage on my 87 GT...the hood flew off the car after I was dumb enough to leave the hood pins in my pocket..this was about 15-20 mphso the damage is pretty decent...I was qouted at about $675 just to straighten it out...does this sound like a rip off...or is this about right?heres a pic

I think that sounds fair....there is a lot of work involved in that repair.

do you know how to do filler work? you can straighten that out smooth it with filler and repaint the cowl, you will need to blend the fenders and the hood for it too look righ. for the price its not bad as long as they do the blending of the adjacent panels for that price

She needs more than filler, some serious pulling and straighting. Just becareful not to put to much stress near the bottom of the windshield cause it will crack pretty easy that way
