i was told my shorty headers wont work, but long tube will. why is this? im putting them on tomarrow because i leave for alabama on wed. and i want to have it complete before i leave on vacation. just wondering i'll buy them if i need them i found some from a friend ceramic coated and almost new for 75 bucks. this my sound stupid but what is the difference in shorty and long tube performance wise.

BBK shorties will work with a 90 degree boot on #7.

^^^^ u have serious problems, i don't know if its with urself or ur confused but i'm not the one. i check this site out like everyday and haven't seen the post or i wouldn't have asked. since day one YOU have been the only one that treats people like s$#t. grow up and help me out by answering the questions or dont post. i dont have time for internet bada##es. it was a serious question.now i know why so many people around the military post im on refuse to come back to this site.

My BBK unequal shorties fit fine on my GT40P's,as mentioned I had run a plugwire with a 90* boot on #7 sparkplug. The P's are good heads, you will like them.

well decided not to do it yet. im waiting to get a cam and upgrade the springs, rr's, and push rods on the gt40p heads i got. i have a pretty bad leak comming from my timing chain cover so i want to replace it all with one teardown. may also have themmilled a little. iknow this has been posted before but what cam should i use. i have gt40 upper & lower intake, gt40p heads, msd ign., cai, and should i get the rebuild gasket kit for the 01 merc. mountaineer so i get the right gaskets for the intakes. because the 5.0 mustang one is for the stock intakes. thanks for all the help!
