Default Straight 6 in a fox?

Has anyone seen a straight six in a fox body? I know the older stangs came with them but I just havn't seen anyone put one in as an upgrade. Just imagine the torque one of those would pull with a turbo on it. I bet clearance would be an issue in the front though wouldn't it.

they were 200ci IIRC. I think they went to '82 becuase the infamous 3.8 was born in 1983, and lived till 1986 popping headgaskets along the way..... haha

ford took GM's 3.8, the one used in the Grand National, and fuggered with it, and designed the flawed engine... I think the water jackets were too close to the pistons and over time they simply blew out gaskets or something...

That is not my point. My 83 was a 3.8 auto when I originaly bought it. It ran after putting a battery in it after sitting in a field for 5 years lol.
I thought the 79's did, I wasn't sure. I mean something like the 300 inline. Like the 4.9 from the F150's. I seen one on craigslist for $300 that ran perfect and the idea just hit me for a second. I would much rather have a 351 from the F150 instead lol.
