Default ripping car apart

thinkingwhy i gotthe car apart to do the cam and headsI shouldchange the pistons and crankshaft too. is there anything im missing that i should do why i got it apart??? what do you guys think

Why are you tearing into the motor? Does it have alot of miles on the block? You can also swap for a 351 or stroke out the 302 block. Basicly if its replacable you might as well get it new, lifters, rockers, pushrods, water pump, oil pump, dizzy. Kinda depends on your budget.

i am tearing into the motor to do the cam and heads... i was just saying why i got it open what should i take advantage of thats all

i would only tear it that far if something was wrong with the motor , real high miles,oil pressure probles or other .

if not i would just change the heads and cam as u said and inj's,what intake are u runnin?,how much do u drive it ?

going with holley upper/lower intake but not yet the heads and custom cam are going to set me back

so your gonna run the stock intake until u get more funds why dont u just save a little more and do it once that way its just easier and then u dont have to buy some of the gaskets,antifreeze,and so on again..........atleast thats how i would do it.

go to the j/y like 30-40 buks for gt40 intakes upper & lower, and they are the same as the cobra.
