Someone told me that I could get collectors car insurance on my 93 GT. They said that there are no limitations on days driving or anything just a mileage limitation of three thousand. They also said that I will no longer have to go through inspection/emissions, etc. Anyone know if this is possible? Don't get confused with antique or classic, I'm talking about collectors insurance. If anyone has it let me know the restrictions and what insurance company you have it with. I have High Point and have no time to sit on the phone with insurance companies so I figured I could ask you guys

I have classic collector car insurance on my 66 about 160 for the whole year!! and mileage is limited to 3000 but they never check it or ask for an odometer statement every year..I just pay it and go each year ftw!!!

so how old/new can the car be to have collectors insurance?

in MD I've seen some foxes with it 20 years here I believe??? maybe less for the insurance but for the historic plates in MD it was just reduced from 25 to 20 years I believe??

ahh, I know here in mississippi for antique tags it has to be 25 years old. wonder if thats the same for collectors car insurance.

My buddy said that he knows someone who claims that they have it on their 92 5.0 We'll see. I'm going to try and look into it if I have some time.

i have grundy for mine , it runs 170 a year for 10k on mine 87 mileage is limited to 3k a year but i am never asked for for an odomiter reading , and i race it from time to time and i don't have historical tags either, but i have checked into them and it is 20years here in ohio,75 bux and they are good for 10 years .
