Default Farewell to project Fox

sup peeps, I haven't been around in a WHILE..... been too damn busy w/work and working on the house. which leads me to today's decision. I have come to the realization that my project 4-banger to 408 conversion is just not going to be happening any time soon. in fact, I haven't gotten any REAL work done on the car 'cept the aquisition of an 8.8 rear and SN95 spindles along with a few odds 'n ends things. make no mistake. I AM JONESING FOR ANOTHER 5.0 REALLY BAD. REALLY bad. however, I am impatient in my quest for power. it's been 12 FREAKIN YEARS since my last 5.0, and I can wait no longer.

after cruising teh interwebzyesterday, I came across an add for an '03 Cobra. nice, clean and low mileage. so, I talked the wife into going for a test drive. we got there, and there she sat. a wonderful specimen of an SVT Cobra. after checking it out from top to bottom, we finally took it for adrive. I didn't even get out of the exit of the dealership and I was already sold. once I got onto theopen road, I opened her up. WOW, just WOW. the blower whinesent goosebumps down my neck. coupled withthe sound of the Flowmaster cat back, thoughts of killing the salesman and dumping his bodyquickly crossed my mind, lol. long story short, I dun bought me a FREAKING SWEET '03 Cobra!!!!
here's some pics from the dealership. I put the deposit down to hold the car and signed the papers. now I just have to wait until the funds transfer from my HSBC account into our regular account and I'll be pickin her up!!! (which probably won't happen until tuesday at the earliest they said. GODDAMNIT, GIVE ME MY MONEH!!!)

BTW I'm still keepin the 4-banger to use for my daily driver. maybe down the road I'll get that project going for real.
