hahaha thanx fellas, loudness= cop magnet? thats all right with me, Im an ex pro freestyle sportbike stuntrider, got used to that until they realized i was legit and not a street punk.

here it is my H.S. dream car, gott lots of questions for you guys and things to learn, i want this to be an 11 second weekend car that handles better than stock.

So I want loud and deep for the sound, but i want maximum HP and performance

this is what i have on the car;
bassani ceramic coated short headers
bassani cat X pipe
bassani mufflers


this is what i think i want from what im learning;
Long Tube headers (dont know what brand)
O/R H pipe
and either dumps/turn downs beforethe axleor all the way back of the cqrwith Flow masters best/loudest muffler


what do you guys say?

Alot of other manufactuars make a race muffler including Flowmaster. It is about 10" long. I think Flowmaster calls it their 10 series or something, correct me if I'm wrong fella's. I got mine from a friend who owns/operates a shop called Big Boyz Toyz by the house and got them for like $35 a piece I think and they are a fully welded case just like Flowmasters muffler.I can't remember what brand they were either, next time I am home I will go ask my friend what brand they was. I heard Flowmasters were like $80 or so a piece.

Longtube headers are the way to go for optimum horsepower, but keep in mind, they are a huge pain in da butt to install. Or be prepared to pay someone to install them. I have allways installed my own, but I curse like a sailor each time. I have only installed the 1.750' headers also, 1.625' longtubes might fit a little easier, never installed a set before.

leave the shortys for now,and the bassani just get a o/r h pipe and see what that does for u

keep the bassani!!!!! why would you want to down grade? if you want a deeper tone buy a bassani o/r H-pipe. x-pipes giver a higher more raspy sound where as the h-pipes give a deeper sound.

id really like to hear a sound clip of ur full bassani setup. (idle, reving, and maybe a fly by)
