asked in another section got no answer. i'll try here.
i got a 347 stroker w/ a holley 750 on a parker funnel web intake. i just got a holley red 110gph electric fuel pump. do i need to run a regulator with this? its set a 9 psi now.
depending, u might want to knock that down a pound or 2 ,my buddys 357 with a decent cam and ported 69' heads with a 750cfm and vic jr intake it likes about 6.5-7.5 pounds.
Absolutly. Electric pumps seem to be famous for having trouble controlling pressure. A return style regulator very close to the carb will give you the best performance.
the holley red is suppose to be the street series pump in which no regulator is needed 4-7 psi max is what it is set for..and no regulator should be needed
