Aproximate power of bolt on 5.0
My friend has a 93 GT with the following mods:
2.5" exhaust, long tube headers
E303 cam
CAI
stock headers, stock compression ratio, stock displacement
aftermarket intake manifold, I can't recall the brand
Anyway he took me for a ride and it definately pulls hard, but he's claiming 400 hp (crank). Is anyone making that much on stock displacement on pump gas?

RE: Aproximate power of bolt on 5.0
yeah a lot of guys that drive 5.0s for the first time and get thrown back in their seats WAY over estimate their horse power.
Only way to be 100 percent is to dyno it
convince your buddy to dyno it for his own sake
