Is that what that is. I knew it wasnt a regular one or so I thought cuz theres no bolts to remove the driveshaft. So how much of a bad idea is that to have on there? Any ideas on the tranny?

cant really tell from those pics... but I woud definitly get rid of that driveshaft

Well luckily for me one thing I was planning on was getting a lightweight one. Does it it hurt to have that driveshaft on there?So would I have need to find out exactly what tranny it is? I ask cause all the post Ive read that involove taking off a driveshaft they say you have to unbolt it, but i dont see where the bolts would go. By the way thanks adder for the info.

So I finally got a hold of the guy who owned the car before me and he said the trans is a T50. Is that right? Meaning is that a trans for the fox bodies.
