Default Electric fan relay

My fan itself tested out fine but still does not come on when the heat gets up. I assume it is a bad fan relay since the ECT was replaced and the fuse replaced. Does anyone know exactly where this relay is and what it looks like?

Yeah, sorry folks. 1995 GT, stock (other than exhaust, K&N). Read posts that it may be with or near the CCRM but nothing confirmed. There is a fuse but no relay in the under hood fuses. Replaced that one, no difference though.

Just to add a note... I found where I had this same problem about 5 years ago and the place that fixed it replaced "A/C high Pressure Switch" and "Fan Control Relays Assy". I assume that the 2nd item is referring to the CCRM assembly? Does anyone know what the "A/C High Pressure switch" looks like and where it is located? I found something that said it was near the passenger strut tower but can't seem to pinpoint anything near that location. THANKS!

the a/c hiigh pressure switch will not come into play with normal fan operation when a/c is not in use...if fan won't come on with a/c off and temp creeping toward hot range.. I'd look for a different prob like ccrm module/relay

Weird, now the fan IS coming on. It was running a bit cooler but just took the car back out and it is riding about 1/2 to 3/4ths temp range.....too hot still. Not overheating but it is running too hot. I can see the fan is on and radiator is full. Any ideas on why this may still be running on the hot side?

Your fan is ok and you have no coolant leaks? It could be a number of things. How about a thermostat issue or waterpump problem? An airlock? Have you enough coolant in the system or a blockage?

Both waterpump and thermostat changed recently. As I look a bit further it appears that the fan may be coming on intermittently (and not always when it should). The car was over half way on the gauge and I popped the hood and the fan was not on. In this range it should have been. I am assuming it could be a fan connector going south (seems it started working when I WD-40'ed the connector and tapped on it) OR the CCRM might be the issue. Can I change out the connector on the fan or do I have to replace the whole harness? Not sure there is enough extra wire to cut and splice. Has anyone had to replace the fan connector?
