Simple upgrades such as exhaust and cold air can help some. The epa isn't always accurate either.

gears will give you mpg in the city, it takes less work to get you to speed. but on the highway it will lower the mpg ever so slightly. im worried about it sooo much im getting 4.30's! woot woot lol

haha 4:30's will kill ya, im thinkg about 3:55 so i still haev some hiway for long trips, but i get about 16-18 in city with a t-5 and 3:08's, hiway i can pull around 22-26 depending on how hard i hit it, i put it in neutral at every downhill i can spot, and stomp on it about 8-10 times eveyrtime i drive it

well im going to a tko600, its got a .64 OD, so ill be pulling about 2600rpms @ 70mph thats fine for me. i was debating a top loader but 4th is 1:1 and that would be 4,000rpms at 70mph lol

I got 23.8 mpg on the highway on my last trip but i always drive pretty hard around town so i think i get between 12-13 city.

Thats why I drive an economy car for a dd. I get 25 city running hard and 35 highway...

LOL, this IS my economy car! My truck gets ~4mpg city and 6 highway!

Last highway I managed a 25.7 run with about an 1/8th of that in town without second gear. Im taking another trip this weekend and Im going to try to get 30.

20.5 back and forth to work(mixed driving) and 23 on the highway and I usually run about 75.
