Default PRICE FOR AN '89 GT CONV?

First time posting...i'm looking to buy my first mustang!

I found a beautiful '89 Conv 5-speed with the following:
43k miles - fully documented including original sticker, title, and all work done
373 rear - upgrade
Headers/Full exhaust system - upgrade - sounds amazing (unsure of name)
Brand New Crome OEM rimsK&N Air Filter Hi-Top
A/C - needs to be charged
Original conv top - fair/good condition (i will replace)Engine temp sensor - to be replaced
New Shift kit/****er - incredible going through gates
75% tread left on tires
Repainted in '96 (by Ford) beautiful deep red - looks great even up close
Saleen wing
"Clean" engine compartment, even has silence
No drivetrain problems, pulls strong
Interior in good condition - normal wear - i would replace
Every upgrade professionally installed - paperwork includedTitle indicates everything he told me is true

I have the entire history on the car ( 2 owner) plus phone numbers, shop that did all the work, and references. Both individuals babied the car and it shows in the quality. Owner said i could bring the car to a shop of my choice prior to buying to ensure all his claims and to check for any problems. Car was in FL most of its life, not an ounce of rust on the body, underneath, or even on drums/disks.3 small rock chips on the front fascia from rocks....you can tell this guy never followed another closely, very clean nose/hood.

Asking $9000 in NY, but i think that's high even for a car of this quality.

What do you think is a ball park figure on the car?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

Craig

was that on ebay?? if so I think I saw that one........I'm looking for a 89-92 vert also as soon as I sell my 92 ls and 66 coupe.....if you look hard enough you can find one in decent shape and shouldn't IMO pay more than 5500 to 6500 for a vert in decent shape.......my price range will be 5500 to 5800 max and I have come across a fair amount at that price in good shape

yeah, it seems like the max for these is $6500 in good condition.

Any idea why the Kelley Blue Book lists them for $3k in EXCELLENT CONDITION?? I don't think you could find a low mileage GT Conv for $3k...or am i wrong?

Any idea on the cost to recarpet the interior and re-upholster the front/rear seats?
