Light chime won't shut up!!
 

I got in my car tonight to drive home from work and as I started it up and turned the lights on the warning chime started going off. I got to listen to it the whole way home. I tried slamming the door a couple of times to make sure it didn't think the door was open and I tried shutting the car off and killing the lights. Any ideas?

Mine does make any sound when i open stuff. A light comes on but thats it.

I still don't know for sure what caused it but I just unplugged the dooropen switch inside the door and it stopped. I didn't have a light w/ the door open anyway.

Door sensor is what chimes.
They wear out. Mine does it every time I wash my car. Dries out and stops.

Mine has something screwy aswell when the pass side and drivers doors are open at the same time it chimes and when you close either one the chime stops. They both have to be open to chime.[&:]
