THE SCREAMING BANANA!!
[ul][*]That car was built while its owner was one Gene Wilson IN 2003[*]It started life as a 4 cylinder 1991[*]It ended up with a DOHC 5.4[*]Greddy T-88 single turbo[*]FAST computer[*]731 HP[*]WHEELS: Widened Saleen 18x12[/ul]Heres the tough part
Its 8.8 3.27:1 trac-loc rear was narrowed, the lower control arms had to be moved inward
A brace was designed across the front of the rearend to support the axle tubes
Now where should the lower control arms go?
A half of a four-link was used with a crossmember for the lower control arms, the stock uppers were used
Strange coilovers were used in rear
Tires used in rear were BFG f-force 345/30
Zartek Race Cars 8 point cage & subframe connectors
Dudes wife was driving this car around to local shows while Gene drove his 4 valve twin turbo focus...
The interior is nice and black, get this it uses a stock shifter, but shifts a Tremec 3550 with McLeod deal disc clutch
To duplicate this car would be hard, they just hint at what was done, no specifics no pics of under the car at all.
I dont remember if/what it sold when I saw it on eBay 1-2 years ago, I am 100% sure it was there, I never forget a well done fox notch, OHHH-YEAH!!!!
