Default Stock foxes running 87 octane

Who's running 87 octane in their mainly stock foxes w/ good success? Been running 89 in my wife's but wanna see if 87 will fit the bill. Timing is bumped to 12 or 14, can't remember where I set it at. Lemmie know.

Thanks

I see alot of guys on here running 87 oct w timing at 12 and 14 b/c there in cooler climates. I know elevation has something to do with it too. I got my car in the winter and it was fine on 87...til it got 112* and that when I learned about "pinging".
