now that im thinking about it the stock volt meter was below half the night before but nothing was acting funny so i figured i just havent driven in a while and forgot how low it runs compared to my vdub

well i had time yesterday to take the alternator to a different pep boys and what do you know, this one said it failed every test. How one pep boys can say its fine and the other say it fails is beyond me, but it goes back together tonight hopefully.
