How did you patch it? Did you cut the rust out?

i recently had someone teach me how to make fiberglass molds, so im going back later this summer and creating both fiberglass fenders, fiberglass hood and fiberglass decklid...all at a cost of about 60 dollars per peice. its super strong too, doesnt flex or dent like metal does...or rust
and not that i look at the picture it looks kinda of crappy, now that the paint is dry its very smooth and stright with the body...the picture does it no justice. i'll be posting future repairs since i have many more to go. also i'll post the body panels i make.

Nice work, my truck has some nice rust holes on the fenders (common in these trucks) that I haven't really done anything with yet because I'm worried I may just make the problem worse if I try. I'm fine turning wrenches and stuff but when It comes to bodywork I'm a total noob.

but i have extensive working knowledge with fiberglass so i thought it may be easier for me to completely replace my body panels with fiberglass ones now that i've learned how to make proper and acurate mouldings. this should be pretty sweet when i get all done.

good job man/ bodywork is like everything else, you just have to do it to get any good at it. hands on is the only way, its just one of those things you can't just read a book about it and then do it. keep up the good work.
