Just got back from the drag race at rout 66 in joliet IL, and it was bad a$$! it rained a little in the morning, and the car show was pretty crappy (like 10 cars) but the racing was awsome!

Yea the NMRA/NMCA show there is always pretty cool. I have a few buddies running NMCA. Did you see a late 80's Camaro, kinda burnt orange color? Should have been running in the 8's, if so that's my buddy George.

i saw so many cars that were nice i couldnt keep them straight... I went today also (sunday). does anyone know about the turbod 69 camaro thats balck with yellow stripes? thing is freaken sick!

O and as always john urists car was amazing, and im pretty sure he won (cant remeber correctly)

Yea that is Spiro Pappis's car, he runs a pair of 69 Camaros, both turbo cars. He has been arond a long time and always has some badass stuff.

yep it was badass..i was there from thursday night until last night...friday was just qualifying but i was there with couple friends and then our friend n his girlfriend, he was racin a 92 fox in pure street...it was a kicka$$ time...sunday definatly the best day, didnt rain like saturday when it just decided to pour for a while...definatly worth the money for the weekend.

ya but even with the rain saturday it wasnt delayed to long.... they got the cars running like 30 min after the last drop
