New paint, New shoes, now I need to be fast
This is my 89 mustang that I have had for a while now and haven't had the money to really work on it until now. I hope you guys like it. I would like to start beefing her up a little its completely stock right now I'm not very mechanically inclined this is my first build so any suggestions on upgrades or what to do first would be appreciated. ENJOY!

i would get some twisted wedge heads, systemmaxx intake, custom cam, 24 or 30lb injectors and matching mass air meter, 255lph fuel pump, 70 mm tb, 3.55 gears for rear
how light were those fenders compared to stock and how was the fitment?

dang thank god you repainted it that old job was nasty...haha the car looks sick now tho!
love those wheels.
the first things you should always do are full exhaust and 3.73's for sticks or 4.10's for auto's.
then start thinking about an hci, altho if your not that power hungry there's no point buying an expensive hci.
when you could get a used cam, and gt40 heads/intake for far less.

Ok so I'm gonna sound like a real a$$ but what does HCI stand for.
The fenders were a little lighter but not much, yes they fit fine since there fiberglass you can kind of make them fit a few spots I had to push in and zip a screw through but nothing hard.
Budget on hp is unknown I am kind of just buying and saving then buying and saving. I would like to stick with the stock block for now. Don't ask why but I have always wanted to supercharge a fox so that is my goal for the moment. I would like to buid up the engine to be veryquick without the chargerand then put a vortech on it to give me that last hp jump. It is going to be a street car but I have already and plan to run it down a track once in a while. Iran 14.74 the last time and I would like to be at low 13's high 12's

Paint looks great man. I cant be 100% sure with the small pics but I think with a slight drop the car would look perfect
HCI stands for heads cam intake. If your looking for low 13's/high 12's and you want to supercharge it you wont need a H/C/I swap. A decent blower set up with 10 pounds of boost and some bolt ons will put you at your goal

yes if you want low 13's/high 12's just throw a supercharger on it with bolt ons and maybe a cam just to give it some lope.
then do a little to the suspension with sticky tires and you'll reach the goal.
