Default X VS H PIPE SOUND??

I just ordered bbk shorties and a bbk off road H pipe. I am just wondering if the h pipe is going to be alot louder vs if i went with the x pipe and what are the diffrences in the two. I have a 95 5.0
Thanks

On the loud scale they shoud be about equal...
The H is more "throaty", more of a roar,
The X is more "Raspy", more of a whistle.

I also read somewhere that the difference was that the X gives HP at higher RMP's and the H give better torque at lower RPM's, not sure about that though.

yeah well im hookin up a lm1 catback to that so i know that they seem to be too raspy with x. so i went with the h pipe. i hope it sounds mean as hell on the5.0Land not quiet.

this guy has bbk shorties, o/r x pipe, and slp lm1's on his 95 gt. i think it sounds killer on idle but its too raspy on rev, so thats why i decided on the h insted.

I like the X better. I wouldnt describe it as raspy tho. They should be about the same as far as loudness (is that a word?)

H or bust. Ive always been a fan of the H, eventhough Xs make about 2 hp more in the top end. Even my buddy who just got a 01 GT and got a BBK X is looking to switch to an H after a couple weeks of the X. But, some do like the X's higher pitch and raspyness.

well i hope the h pipe isnt any quieter. i want that kick *** loud sound. I think the h will have a better sound with the lm1's. Isnt the h pipe louder than the x on idle?
