1990 LX 5.0 conv voltage draw with ign off
Greetings.
I have been battling with an electrical problem. I am a retard at this.[:@]
My battery will drain dead overnight if I leave the cable(s) connected.
I have set a test light in series with the -cable and - post on the battery with the ign off and it will light up dim. I pulled the fuses one at a time and found one that turns off the light. I put it back in and take it out and the light shines bright.
I have the cig lighter assy, glove box light assy removed and have disconnected the electric mirror switch, pulled the trunk bulb and under hood bulb. The same results occur.
Will any of you gurus care to give me some suggestions? I would really appreciate any help!
Regards, Steve.

Hey man when i got my car i had a simular problem but it occured after a dumb mistake, i left my lights on one day ata NASCAR race in richmond and when i got a jump i crossed the + and - terminals, dumb huh? Well i finaly got it running and later that week my Altenator went and got a new one i blew that one too. I forgot i had just put a system in my car and figured that it was killing my altenator so i got a Powermaster 140 amp alt. and it solved the problem also i got a new battery. Mayby you have the same problem also cheak to see iff your lights are ALL off in the cabin of your car dome light ext..... my dome light was also drawing curent while the car was off because the first alt. i blew was still on cause i blew the internal volt regulator. Also check to see if your Fuel pump atays on that could be the problem to any thing that has a Relay check those to i suggest getting a manual and checking all the relays one bad one could keep **** on
