SUPERCHARGER, V-1 SC-TRIM...worth it?
I am thinking about taking the step......but I just bought a house......and the budget is tight [&:]
Is the 86-93 SUPERCHARGER, 5.0, V-1 SC-TRIM worth it?
Here is the link:

I know that it is the entry level S/C....but for a 100% legal Daily Driver (that will soon to become a weekend driver in October).......is it worth it?

looks good, but remember, with you h/c/i your going to need alot of fuel to keep that engine happy with all that flow + supercharger.
so that $2000+ for the supercharger can quickly get out of hand with all supporting fuel mod's
good luck, and congrats on the new house!!!

you will probalby need like a 42 pound injector for that...But everything else should be fine.
O and that is a great s/c to get, its good for up to 680 (as stated by vortech), and i dont know if you ever heard of Tim stockwell? but he used this on a stock engined 5.0 with 3.73, auto that only had 4000 stall, full suspension, fuel upgrades tire and a tune, with a snow methonal system and busted out a 10.9!!!!!!!!!

42s?!? I would have thought 30s.......Actually, I was hoping to keep the 24s
.........so you think that is necessary even if I kept it at the entry-level 5psi/70hp boost?

+1, at 5lbs you still will need a upgrade, i would hold off, and might as well upgrad the ignition system while your at it, fuel, intake, MAF, ETC
ive never heard of only having 24lb injectors with ANY boost, nor do i really know if its "do-able" might want to contact the company, or someone else that would know a little better.
