Default Sway bar

After investigating a rattle ive realized thast i have a broken sway bar(rear) in my 95. THe junk yard near where i live has a 94-95 v6, is there any difference v6 and v8 cars as far as sway bars go?

Also i dont like buying parts twice and ive been upgrading parts as the break, so are the aftermarket ones something i should look into, or are they worth it as far as handling/traction go. The car will never be a serious race car, most likely about 90-95% street driven with the occasional trips to the track and about 350-425 hp(eventually).

i think theres a pretty noticeable difference seems to be quit a bit stiffer on corners and stuff i like mine..... but keep in mind mine was broken when i bought the car so i never drove it with a stock one.....

yeah when i took off my stocker to put on my c/a's it didn't seem like it was much less than 1" thick which would defeat the purpose of buying a summit one.
