Need help with no start 5.0L HO MarkVII
I have a 1987 Lincoln Mark VII with the 5.0L HO that is converted to Mass air flow. My car was hesitating and sometimes would not start. It seemed like it was taking longer to start at first, then it wouldn't always start and would take one or two tries. Now I can't start it at all. The problem is that my fuel injectors are not actuating. Here's what I have tried so far:I replaced my fuel filter, hooked up pressure gauge at fuel rails reading 42psi when the fuel pump primes and during cranking. Fuel injectors do not click however. I used a stethoscope and compared my car to a friend's 5.0L Mustang.I hooked up an inline spark tester and it lights up at every terminal on my distributor cap. I put my coil from my Thunderbird in and it started for a few seconds but still exhibited hesitation when I gave it gas. I bought a MSD coil. It started for a few seconds but stalled out again same hesitation when I hit the gas. It hasn't started since then. I hooked my timing light up and my marks are still in alignment. I also took my distributor out and checked my TFI module according to my Haynes manual and it tested ok.When I pulled codes I only got a code 95 which is because I never ran the one wire to the fuel pump relay when I converted to MAF but that was an optional step and I have 1500 miles on the car since the conversion.I tested my injectors with a multimeter and test light and they are getting power to them but not clicking when they should. I thought my computer might be bad so I switched back to my Speed Density computer and my injectors still are not actuating.I was thinking it may be a ground problem.Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. I am running out of ideas and I think I would have a hard time getting a shop to take a look at it since it has been modified. Thanks in advance.
