had i t with my efi switching to carb a few questions
 

well if you been around here for a while youll know this is my first efi build and i have just ahd it with surging idle crap,cant get it to run right,need to tune...blah blah blah..so i am switching over to carb back to my territory and have a few questions----

i know intake ,carb,coil,fuel pump,dizzy and?

so what are my options for the fuel delivery setup as in good pump or tank setup? efi pump?

and i am already runnin a msd box and will be buying a msd coil whats a good dizzy to go with this lookin at a msd or mallory? and more specifically what part number?


and wiring i know i can rip out computer,injector harness,main harness,o2 harness, but do i need to keep anything there?

does any one know of a good site that can lead me in the right direction for other info.

dont do it! Fix it the right way, keep the efi!

ahh screw efi, I will be building an efi one eventually but carb will never give you idle surge ftw!!:)

uhh too late primetime maf,cold air tube,tb,inj;ers,upper and lower,fuel lines,wiring harness are all removed already. and computer and harness is going to a friend of mine

i had just had it with not wanting to idle,falling on its face,had 2 injectors just start leaking,iac valve went tits up, .....

so anybody with some info like the fuel system is my first order of business..?

some jerk i know, formerly known as 'addermk2' once stated 'carbs are for lazy people that are for only running in a straight line and anyone who does needs to get a life. carbs suck especially predator carbs.' WTF??? i like both. efi/carbs both have theyre place, it depends on what you want & how much you want to spend & how you intend to use what you have. but dont take my word for it, sounds like addermk2 has changed his tune [and his name]. dont pi$$ him off, rumor has it he makes mean faces @ people & wets the bed.

so what are we going to get some links or what i need help too!
