yea guys, it went to a good guy, buddy of mine. actually a well known name in dragracing(8 sec mustangs, used to be foxbodys now new edges) picked it up for him, which was kinda cool. gotta love workin at a machine shop, and the ppl you meet.
i let it go for cheap, real cheap.... $1,500. but....it wasnt running great from sitting and was starting to rust, frame was slightly twisted etc.... so i guess me and him both lucked out.
as for the 02, im ditching the 3.73s for 4.10s, using foxbody 4cyl springs up front and cutting a coil in the back, 90/10s, 50/50s uppers/lowers, o/r x pipe and a catback(not sure which yet), and putting my nitrous kit on it(need to spend about 200 on what i have just to get it fresh and what not). then getting the car tuned
and pro.... ill be there!

havn't even sent it back yet, i hear jim's been real busy and i'm not going to rush him like last time. but back to the thread...
1500 was a darn good deal for that car, what was your best time with it? And it was funny i remember you complaining a while back about not having money to put into the 5.0 and then all of a sudden ur not on anymore cause you've moved to the 4.6 section!

Damn 1500. I thought you would of got alot more than that. I sold my 89 for that to my friend for 1500 and it was in alot worse shape than yours. But i understand what you did. I did the same thing since i sold it to my friend.

honestly never ran it w. the current set up.... before it was 13.4... then the h/c/i swap... beats me... i know i was shooting for high 11/low 12s w. it. im sure ill see what it does soon enough
andyea a while back i got laid off and was in a pinch trying to get my 5.0 back together, obviously i found another job lol and finnished the 5.0... i have 2k saved up, it was either a s/c for the foxbody or a downpayment on a new edge... as you can see i went w. the 02...
and summit should come give me a bj... seein that i just spend that 1500 thru them. lol

eh i was getting tired of it just sitting, i should have taken the mufflers off of it for the 02, but o well. and i was at the point where i just wanted enough money to get the 02 where i wanted it for now, and i did, so i cant bitch
